Overview of the New YETI Hopper Flip 12 that I shot at Surf Expo 2016. This cooler was recently released this summer and has been a big hit with the YETI community. Listen to Wes as he describes some of the features of the new Hopper Flip 12.

The Hopper Flip 12 the newest addition
to the Hopper line and the Hopper family
A little bit different look coming from us
and the Hopper Flip first of all same
zipper design meaning is the same zipper as
you’ll see in the survival suit so if
you imagine someone off shore diving 200 feet this zipper in their suits is the
only thing separating them between life
and death. Is it over kill for a cooler
maybe, but to us it’s just what we need for it to
be quality and stand up to the test of
a hard core user everyday. What is different is this top opens completely up to
expose the same type of copper material
that we use previously this is TPU Coated
similar to what you see on a
whitewater raft so a super
abrasion-resistant also what you get in
the Flip is a fully insulated lid as
well. From the little different from the
Hopper Flip or the Hopper family that
we’ve seen before
when you close this now you have a
complete working surface so if you’re on
a job site you can have a lunch here if
you’re only boat kayak stand-up
paddleboard what have you have a place
for knot-tying terminal tackle your
pliers and its really space-efficient
holds 12 cans cans and 8 cans and a lunch something
like that too is designed for a personal
day you cooler. This is just you out of
the day on the boat on the job whatever
you do
and all else.
